BLOG#20 (The Screening Room)

The Screening that i decided to watch was called "The Last Farm" and it was one of the most amazing short films i have seen i usually don't get into short films because they are so boron but i actually liked this one. It started getting really emotional at the end and it literally almost made me cry.  Its basically a screening about how quickly times are changing around us. All in all it was a great screening.

Blog#19 (Warner Bros VIP)

I thought that the tour was very nice i liked seeing the friends set and all the buildings that i see in the movies. Looks like a nice place to tour in real life as well. All in all it was a great set up!

Blog#18 (WC Virtual Tour)

Im sorry Dr. Baltrip but i definitely liked the Weather Channels tour a lot better it seems like it is a lot nicer in the inside.  It has a very modern feel to it as well but one thing i can say is i think that as far as the height of the structure and its panoramic views the New York Times building is a lot better!

Blog#17 (New York Times Virtual Tour)

I think that it was amazing the structure was really nice and i think that it would be an awesome place to work especially seeing how the inside looked and the windows and how tall the building was!

Blog#16 (Recording Studio Tour)

What i think is most intriguing when it comes to studio recording is the creative aspect of it all.  Recording is something that i have only done once in my life but i can actually say that it is the best feeling in the world to actually here yourself through the speakers after you have recorded.  My experience recording was truly inspiring.  Another thing that i love about the recording industry is the fact that you can be artistic and take chances and do things that you wouldn't normally do in life or that people would perceive as being weird and no one judging you!

Blog#15 (State Of The Media)

Well based on what i read the media has definitely changed over the years especially with technology taking off the way it has been a lot of industries that where thriving are now clinging to dear life.  The magazine industry for instance has definitely faltered since the recession in 2009 and has never really bounced back because of the launch of the I-Pad which makes magazines and news digitally accessible online.  Another thing that has changed in the media today is the changes in cable networks and there profits. For years CNN was on top then in 2009 Fox received the top spot by not only passing CNN in revenue but also the about of viewers.  It is still safe to say though that CNN's website traffic is still a lot heavier.

Blog #14 (Ethical Decisions)

The category that i learned the most from is deception because it is something that a lot of us don't take into consideration when we think about mass communications.  It is unfortunate but i believe that most people think that everything that they see on T.V. is real. when in fact a lot of things that are on television especially in politics are used as deception.  I also learned that when dealing with deception it is also best to get the other side of the story, meaning do your research.  Because in most cases you will notice that stories of other websites or people will conflict.
