The Screening that i decided to watch was called "The Last Farm" and it was one of the most amazing short films i have seen i usually don't get into short films because they are so boron but i actually liked this one. It started getting really emotional at the end and it literally almost made me cry. Its basically a screening about how quickly times are changing around us. All in all it was a great screening.

Blog#19 (Warner Bros VIP)
I thought that the tour was very nice i liked seeing the friends set and all the buildings that i see in the movies. Looks like a nice place to tour in real life as well. All in all it was a great set up!
Blog#18 (WC Virtual Tour)
Im sorry Dr. Baltrip but i definitely liked the Weather Channels tour a lot better it seems like it is a lot nicer in the inside. It has a very modern feel to it as well but one thing i can say is i think that as far as the height of the structure and its panoramic views the New York Times building is a lot better!
Blog#17 (New York Times Virtual Tour)
I think that it was amazing the structure was really nice and i think that it would be an awesome place to work especially seeing how the inside looked and the windows and how tall the building was!
Blog#16 (Recording Studio Tour)
What i think is most intriguing when it comes to studio recording is the creative aspect of it all. Recording is something that i have only done once in my life but i can actually say that it is the best feeling in the world to actually here yourself through the speakers after you have recorded. My experience recording was truly inspiring. Another thing that i love about the recording industry is the fact that you can be artistic and take chances and do things that you wouldn't normally do in life or that people would perceive as being weird and no one judging you!
Blog#15 (State Of The Media)
Well based on what i read the media has definitely changed over the years especially with technology taking off the way it has been a lot of industries that where thriving are now clinging to dear life. The magazine industry for instance has definitely faltered since the recession in 2009 and has never really bounced back because of the launch of the I-Pad which makes magazines and news digitally accessible online. Another thing that has changed in the media today is the changes in cable networks and there profits. For years CNN was on top then in 2009 Fox received the top spot by not only passing CNN in revenue but also the about of viewers. It is still safe to say though that CNN's website traffic is still a lot heavier.
Blog #14 (Ethical Decisions)
The category that i learned the most from is deception because it is something that a lot of us don't take into consideration when we think about mass communications. It is unfortunate but i believe that most people think that everything that they see on T.V. is real. when in fact a lot of things that are on television especially in politics are used as deception. I also learned that when dealing with deception it is also best to get the other side of the story, meaning do your research. Because in most cases you will notice that stories of other websites or people will conflict.
Blog #13 (Internet Safety)
I actually found the games to be very boring. I don't think they would be very effective either these games were so boring that even if a kid did play them they wouldn't remember them because they were so purely made that no kid would be interested in sitting down and actually playing it. Instead of a game these actually came off to me as a test and if you want kids to remember anything it is best to teach them in a fun way where they can remember what there learning about rather then just doing a question and answers game.
Blog #12 (Censoring Filthy Dirty Muck)
I believe that the government and censorship is very important....If they didn't stand up and hold these companies responsible no one would.....Especially now when technology is so accessible to younger children it is the responsibility of not only the government to hold these companies accountable but it is also the job of the parents to also set moral standards with there children as well. I Fell like the actions of censorship seem a little harsh at times but over all i think that it is absolutely essential.
Blog 11 "Green Screen Show"
A green screen is a screen that is completely green that is used as a canvas for computerized animation that allows for a broader range of creativity when recording.....Green screens are also used in weather forecasting. I think out of all the different kind of green screen shows that i have seen the most i actually like when there used to show the weather.....Its amazing to me how they have incorporated technology now of days to doing simple things like showing people the weather.....It also makes the weather a lot more fun to watch!

Blog# 10 (Film Review Great Train Robbery)
That was the WORST film in history. I am so glad that film did not last longer than 10 minutes. Maybe its because i don't like silent films i don't know. I hated the fact that the story line was so basic there was no really climax or growth because it started with action. The realism of this movie was VERY unrealistic and it was in black and white. There was no clear category that i could put this film in, i don't know if it was a horror an action a comedy a thriller or all four. All in all i would give this film a one star and thats being nice.
Blog#9(Blue Store Or Redbox)
Honestly i would prefer online streaming over either of these because of its accessibility and because its more cost effective. With online streaming you get to see pretty much any movie you want via the internet and in most cases its free. With Red Box you have to drive to the location and drop it off and with Netflix you have to subscribe monthly for $8.00 why go through all that when you can just get everything for free??? But as far as Blue store or Red Box i would definitely go with Red Box because its more accessible and cheaper now that they have closed just about all the blockbuster stores down because of bankruptcy!

Blog #8 (Old Time Radio Show)
This was Crazy fun i was realy oppose to to listening to old radio. I actually listned to the comody about judy and it had me laughing out of my chair. What i liked most about it was the fact that it let my imagination make up the images rather than an already made image of the people that we ordinarily see on t.v.. I actually say that this could trump t.v. for me. I think i could actually listen to radio for long periods of time i caught myself getting mad a couple of times when they cut to commercial. Lol actually you know what i think i might listen to another show!
Blog #7 (Napster V.S. Itunes)
I myself prefer I-Tunes over Napster because i have a Mac and an I-Pad but after reading this information i may have to re-consider.....I feel like when it comes to downloading/buying material you wanna go for the safest buy....and after doing a lot of research they both seem to be virus free websites...A great thing about I-Tunes though that sets them apart from the competition is its large Music database.......on the other hand the great thing about Napster that sets them apart is there affordable prices! So i kind of like that they both are great as far as security but honestly i would pick Napster over I-Tunes because I'm one of those Frugal people that likes to save money!

Blog #6 (The End Of Paper)
This is very interesting newspapers have been around for years but i think that they are going to go away in the future. Even though I'm sure that newspapers will disappear, newspaper as we see it today will be around for along time before its demise . Although there is some kind of technology that will become available that will eliminate newspapers....it is safe to say that whatever this technology is it will have to be produced in the masses before newspapers and or printing are taken over completely.

Blog #5 (Banning Books)
I feel like banning some books in schools are very important. I fell like banning the dictionary is a little over the top. Especially when children today are exposed to this type of sexual language and even participate in some cases. It is my opinion that if the child is old enough to read the definition in the dictionary they are old enough to learn about whatever they are reading. As far as certain books in the libraries like adult novels they should be banned especially those sexually driven ones that promote sex and pornography. Maybe they could have another section just for adult novels in general that way it would eliminate the access that children would have to these books.
Blog #4 (Poor Richard)
"The sleeping Fox catches no poultry"
-Benjamin Franklin
I chose this quote because it reminds me alot of my grandfather. As a kid he always woke me up with a quote. "Don't be so eager to sleep, because one day you will sleep forever". The quote by Benjamin Franklin does the same thing that the quote my grandfather told me did. It inspires me to keep on pushing, in life sometimes it is so easy to just lay down and go to sleep... but success comes from a person that is wide awake, diligent and focused.

Blog #3 (Social Interaction)
Does the internet isolate people form real social interaction, or does it actually foster more social interaction? To elaborate on this idea of social interaction you would have to have a clear definition of "Real Social Interaction". If your looking at social interaction as being a close ended form of in-person communication i could see how one would come to the conclusion of the internet isolating real social interaction. On the other hand if were talking about social interaction as a whole i think if anything it helps. Twitter and Facebook have given us outlets to be able to express ourselves with other people that some of us wouldn't ordinarily do if we were face to face with someone. It also allows every person to be able to communicate to the masses. All in all i still feel like the internet is a new form of real social interaction and as long as were interacting whether through the internet or in person all dialogue is good dialogue.

Blog #2 (CBS Thought)
Implementation users should still have a love of story telling a love of clear vivid language and a respect for history does this matter? I completely agree with this, media has definitely changed over the years especially because it is more accessible then it was before. With this accessibility of information, many of us overwhelming disregard the ways in which we had before IPhone's, IPad's, and computers. The main goal of media giants today is focused more on building an economic empire rather than putting out quality work.
Blog #1
Choosing by my Internet score of 38 one would say I'm pretty average when it comes to the use of social media. I myself would respond by saying that based on the way i chose to answer the questions on the Internet junkie test i might just be a little bias. I would say on average for me i spend about 6-8 hours online including text messaging. This does not however include the time i subconsciously spend using social media. I would say that in most cases the time i spend online using social media including text messaging and Internet, is both good and bad depending on where exactly it leads me. It is not the best use of my time when i find my self on YouTube for hours looking at one video after another, only to realize that half of my day has passed. On the other hand it is the best use of my time when i randomly have an educational curiosity for learning, and i find myself researching something that i otherwise had no interest in researching. So for me social media is used for education, recreation and information.
